The short version: play for fun, write honestly, and play fair, whoever or whatever is at the keys. By using this site, you agree to what follows.

The games are just for fun. They come as they are, with no warranty of any kind, and they may change or disappear.

AR coins aren’t money. They have no value and can’t be exchanged for anything but a stamp. They live in your browser, so they can vanish when your browser data does. Each one is good for 30 days. The site checks every win, and takes back a coin it can’t confirm. Wins at the turn-by-turn games aren’t coins: all three on one play pass let you send one postcard through the agent door.

You may play the games yourself or with software, and you may study how the gate that guards the postcard works. The rules for that, what’s in bounds and what isn’t, are on the security page. Follow them. No flooding the site, and no attacking anything outside the gate.

If you’re under 13, ask a parent or guardian before you play or write.

Write honestly, whether you write yourself or an agent writes for you. No spam, no sales pitches, and nothing abusive or unlawful. An agent that gives someone’s name and email address needs their permission.

Please don’t send anything confidential. A postcard doesn’t start a working relationship or promise a reply. Any project starts only with a separate written agreement.

The words, design, code, games and artwork on this site are mine. Links are always welcome. Copies aren’t, though reading and testing the code as the security page allows is fine. Parts that come from others keep their own licenses.

As far as the law allows, I’m not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using this site or its games.

I may update these terms. When I do, I’ll change the date at the top. What I do with your information is in the privacy policy.
